The latest incarnation of the enormously successful Pangaea lounges in New York, London and Marbella, Spain, Pangaea Austin is the next chapter in what has been called a New York nightlife institution.  Pangaea was hailed by the New York Post as “the hottest place in New York” and “a hangout for top models and celebs.” 

Meaning ‘all lands’ in Greek, Pangaea pays tribute to our university heritage and fuses African, Asian and European elements.  The atmosphere of Pangaea Austin pays tribute to the sophisticated game lodges of east Africa with raw material structures, horned animal skulls, spears, and cartographic art.  Candlelight casts warm shadows across these tribal artifacts, conveying the sense of being swept away on a nighttime safari.  This beautifully finished interior also features airy cotton sails draped high above wooden tables and plush lounge seating.  The DJ plays international lounge beats, house, rock, and hip-hop accompanied by live rhythms of drums & costumed dancers.
